For the last decade, a small number of pets on the internet have made massive names for themselves as social media influencers. Be it the always morose Grumpy Cat, the constantly tongue-forward Marnie the Dog, or the insanely adorable Pomeranian Jiff Pom, a number of animals (and their owners) have found their way to Internet success.
One such animal is Doug the Pug, a cute and often hilarious pug with more than 3 million followers on Instagram. The famous furry friend recently reached out on social media to another wildly popular personality, Queer Eye’s Jonathan Van Ness, to see if he would be willing to marry his owners.

“JVN, will you officiate my parents’ wedding?” the dog asked via sign in a recent Instagram post. The photo’s caption revealed that everyone’s favorite hairstylist is already onboard with the wedding. “He said yassss!” the caption read. Van Ness weighed in on his own Instagram story, writing, “I can’t wait.”
The Queer Eye star has been riding high recently. Van Ness is currently filming season 3 of the show in Kansas City, while also celebrating the show’s four Emmy nominations, including one for outstanding structured reality program, along with an additional Emmy nomination for his Game of Thrones recap Web series “Gay of Thrones.”
