Pop icon P!nk has made a name for herself as a longtime advocate and ally for the LGBTQ community. The star has rocked an androgynous style throughout most of her career, and through both her music and her actions, has been an outspoken voice for LGBTQ rights; she even won the Human Rights Campaign’s Ally for Equality Award back in 2010.
Early Tuesday morning (May 29), P!nk showed her queer fans that she is still here, fighting for them. The star tweeted out a captionless photo of her wearing a red hat that simply read “Make America Gay Again,” a direct rebuttal to President Trump’s campaign promise to “make America great again.”
The Human Rights Campaign, who makes the hat P!nk wore in the photo, tweeted a thank you in response. “Thanks @Pink for showing your support!” they wrote. “Who else is ready to Make America Gay Again?”
