Miley Cyrus took to Twitter on Tuesday (Feb. 12) to announce that she will be appearing on the premiere episode of season 11 of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
“CAN I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLZ : ABOUT TO ANNOUNCE SOMETHING SICKENING !” the singer tweeted before dropping a new promo for the Drag Race premiere. “Are you freaking out? Because I’m freaking out,” Cyrus says from behind the Drag Race judges’ table.
The “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” singer follows Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera, who previously served as guest judges for the premieres of season 9 and 10 respectively. Not only will Cyrus act as a guest judge for the episode, but VH1 teased that the diva will go undercover in the workroom to spy on the new queens. The competitors’ first challenge will be to create signature looks from materials belonging to former alum of the Emmy-winning series.
Cyrus memorably shared the stage alongside a troupe of 30 drag queens during her 2015 MTV Video Music Awards closing performance of “Dooo It.” The group included Drag Race alum Alyssa Edwards, Gia Gunn, Jasmine Masters, Laganja Estranja and Shangela, among others.
The premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 11 is set for Thursday, Feb. 28 at 9 pm on VH1. The season follows this Friday’s finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 4.
