This year’s Manchester Pride Festival just got a little bit sweeter. On Monday morning (Feb. 25), the festival released its official 2019 lineup, featuring Ariana Grande and Years & Years as the festival’s two headliners.
The remainder of the lineup features a number of queer artists, including Kim Petras, Bananarama and Lady Leshurr. Many of the artists involved took to their social media to announce the news. “This summer is going to be special,” Years & Years tweeted.
Grande’s set at Manchester Pride 2019 will mark her first performance in the city since the infamous 2017 attack at one of her concerts. The singer had previously told her fans that she would be giving a “special performance” later this year in the city.
