Pop singer Jess Glynne is set to perform at the official afterparty of the 30th annual GLAAD Media Awards, presented by Hyundai. The singer, known globally for her hit song “Rather Be” with Clean Bandit, will perform after the LA ceremony on Thursday, March 28.
Glynne will take the stage to perform her songs “These Days,” “I’ll Be There” and her recent single “Thursday.” The latter track, from her latest album Always in Between, was performed at this year’s Brit Awards, where Glynne and collaborator H.E.R. encouraged young women watching to embrace their own natural beauty.
Will & Grace star Sean Hayes is set to receive this year’s Stephen F. Kolzak award, given to an LGBTQ personality who has promoted acceptance throughout their careers. Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds and the cast of Queer Eye will also appear at the event.
Nominees for this year’s GLAAD Media Awards include Janelle Monáe, Troye Sivan, Hayley Kiyoko, Brandi Carlile, Pose, American Idol, Love & Hip-Hop, The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard.
GLAAD will honor Madonna at the organization’s New York City awards ceremony on May 4. The pop icon will receive the advocate for change award.
