The world can be cruel to the LGBTQ community, however; this harsh reality may be what gave them the superpowers to transform this planet into a more creative, fun and smart place to be. Thank you for the endless inspiration and the colours that you bring to the universe.
I once met a fan of mine from the LGBTQ community who had suicidal thoughts because no one understood him where he lives in Kosovo. He told me that my music is what keeps him going and seeing me last year perform at Pride NYC on the Sinful Colors float gave him this amazing feeling of hope. As a result of my performance, Sinful Colors donated part of their proceeds of their Pride nail polish line to the Trevor Project, a 24/7 suicide hotline for LGBTQ youth, which is a cause that means a lot to me. I’m more than happy to perform again this year at Pride NYC, where I’l also be launching my Pride nail polish collection in collaboration with Sinful Colors.
Don’t let anyone stop you from loving. Love yourself and who ever your heart beats for. Beyond gender, race, and nation.
