When RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Farrah Moan and Shea Couleé went out for a late-night dinner after a show in Newcastle, England, they were not expecting to be confronted with bigotry. But still, a reposted Snapchat story by an assailant showed Farrah and Shea being confronted by two off-camera individuals in a kebab shop, who called them “slut,” “faggot” and even “walking STD.”
After hearing from her fans, Farrah tweeted out a short statement regarding what happened. “I didnt wanna bring attention to the negativity that happened to me and shea last night in Newcastle at a kebab shop but the vid is spreading,” the star wrote.
so I didnt wanna bring attention to the negativity that happened to me and shea last night in Newcastle at a kebab shop but the vid is spreading. No need to apologize on behalf of the city- our show was amazing and theres homophobic twats all over the world. Love you guys!

She quickly told her fans that they should not apologize on behalf of the city of Newcastle. “No need to apologize on behalf of the city- our show was amazing and theres [sic] homophobic twats all over the world. Love you guys!”
But fans of the Season 9 queen demanded justice. Twitter users quickly started tweeting photos and social media accounts at Farrah to try and identify who her attackers were. At first, Farrah joined in, putting on her detective’s hat to confirm and deny who was or was not involved in the incident.
The only reason I addressed it was because came home to find my inbox flooded and I didn’t want anyone getting wrongly accused. Also I got thousands of death threats after drag race so I think these homophobic ass holes will be fine lol let’s not sympathize w/ abusers

ALSO my fans are the sweetest people in the world, I severely doubt they’d ever send death threats. I’ve never seen a single one do that before

Y’all really don’t have to do that I think it’s been enough already

“I got thousands of death threats after drag race so I think these homophobic ass holes [sic] will be fine lol let’s not sympathize w/ abusers,” she tweeted, adding “ALSO my fans are the sweetest people in the world, I severely doubt they’d ever send death threats.”
Eventually, the queen called off the hunt and asked her fans not to send hate towards either of the abusers, saying that “I think it’s been enough already.”
Shea Couleé also took to Twitter for a different kind of search: The queen said that a standerby named Steph defended her and Farrah, and tweeted out a description to see if her fans could find the person who helped out. “She helped me and @farrahrized and I want to thank her,” she wrote.
Hey loves! A lot of you have reached out in regards to the incident in Newcastle involving myself and @farrahrized. Those girls were WAY out of line, but we all make mistakes. Not to mention there was an ally there named Steph that LITERALLY punched on of them in the throat —-

If anyone knows Steph, or a Steph that was at the show in Newcastle. I would like to find her. She had medium blonde hair, was about 6”2, had on a wife beater, jeans, timberlands, and a gold moschino belt. She helped me and @farrahrized and I want to thank her.
