At the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night (May 20), Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato slayed the stage with a rousing performance of their new feminist anthem “Fall In Line,” which will appear on Aguilera’s highly-anticipated studio album Liberation.
Xtina took to the stage first, showing off her usual vocal stunts, followed by Demi’s verse, where the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer showed the world why Aguilera chose to collaborate with her in the first place. Their militaristic performance — in which they were literally surrounded by soldiers — culminated in an explosive duet battle, the two vocal divas riffing and running circles around one another.
Fans took to Twitter to commemorate the pair’s stunning performance, while also poking fun at the singers for the volume of their performance. Here are a few of Billboard Pride’s favorite reactions to Demi Lovato and Christina Aguilera’s performance of “Fall In Line.”
