Have you ever wondered what it would be like to come across a group of fairies in an enchanted forest? Well, Brooke Candy has an answer to that question.
On Wednesday (Dec. 4), Candy dropped her latest video for “Nymph,” the fifth to come off of her debut album Sexorcism. In the track, Candy does what she does best, singing and rapping about her sexual desire without holding anything back, letting her lover know that she’s ready to go. “You can have my info/ 1-800-NYMPHO,” she sings.
But the video takes a different approach to the song’s title, focus on the mythological creaturs of the woods who share the same name. As Candy and her group of fellow nymphs are revealed, in more and more strange-yet-stunning makeup and outfits, the star slowly shows her kinky side, as she gets tied to a tree and continues to rap about wanting to “cannibalize you like Lord of the Flies.”
In a statement released with the video, Candy says that she wanted to bring together two seemingly disparate parts of herself in the clip. “This song combines two sides of my personality: the whimsical, innocent little girl and the confident, hyper-sexualized woman,” she said. “Getting the chance to work with Betsy Johnson (director), Cupid (makeup and prosthetics), Charlie Le Mindu (hair), and the insanely beautiful cast of ICONS deep in the forest and surrounded by the majestic beauty of Mother Nature felt like a fantasy. I’m in love with how it turned out!”
