Several stars have shown their love for Brockhampton: Halsey, Diplo and Years & Years’ Olly Alexander, among others have all show up to support for the hip-hop boy band’s new album Iridescence on Twitter. But their latest high-profile fan is a bit unexpected: Burger King.
Brockhampton member Kevin Abstract noticed that the fast food chain’s official Twitter had liked a tweet where he mentioned a verse that didn’t make it onto the album.
“Bruh what the fuck goin on,” Abstract tweeted, accompanied by a screenshot of the interaction. Burger King then responded with a tweet, “we just wanna hear it is all.”
Abstract was quick to respond, asking the chain to give Iridescence some support: “Can y’all tell y’all customers to stream the Album since u wanna play on twitter today.”
Billboard has reached out to both parties for comment. Check out the Twitter interaction below.
