Brendon Urie Comes Out as Pansexual in ‘PAPER’ Interview

Panic! at the Disco frontman Brendon Urie has came out as pansexual in an interview with PAPER magazine, published on Friday (July 6).

“I’m married to a woman and I’m very much in love with her but I’m not opposed to a man because to me, I like a person,” Urie explains. “Yeah I guess you could qualify me as pansexual because I really don’t care.” He adds, “I guess this is me coming out as pansexual.”

Urie, who has been married to Sarah Orzechowski for five years, shares that coming to terms with his sexuality “was never weird” for him as a young man. Previously identifying as straight and sexually fluid, the singer now seems to prefer a label more inclusive.

“If a person is great, then a person is great,” Urie says. “I just like good people, if your heart’s in the right place. I’m definitely attracted to men. It’s just people that I am attracted to.”
