On this week’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race, the remaining queens of season 10 get to embark on the makeover challenge, where they will be turning social media stars into high-glamour drag queens ready for the runway.
In an exclusive clip shared with Billboard, we see Asia O’Hara getting to know her new client, entrepreneur and LGBTQ rights activist Raymond Braun. Braun rose to internet stardom as a social media influencer promoting messages of acceptance and equality for the LGBTQ community.
Asia seems to be nervous about the challenge in the clip, saying, “Makeovers are not my favorite, I’m not going to lie. But, I am a great pageant coach.” So, to get prepared for the impending makeover, Asia talks to Braun to get to know him a little bit better.
The social media star reveals his love for Drag Race, saying he’s seen every episode of the show, many more than once. When he reveals to Asia that his favorite Drag Race alum is Latrice Royale, the two immediately connect. “It’s Latrice Royale, because for me, it’s about the heart,” he explains. “I feel like drag queens are the saints of our community; they give us hope, they make us happy, they make us feel inspired.”
After immediately hitting it off, Braun dons one of Asia’s explosively sequined jackets and starts strutting around the Werk Room, taunting the other queens. “I see you, Eureka, I see you looking. You nervous?” he jabs, only for Asia to add, “You should be.”
