Last week’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked sparked one of the most intense discussions among fans since the show’s inception. After outspoken Chicago queen The Vixen got into a verbal battle with Brooklyn’s fashion queen Aquaria, she called out what she knew would become a racial narrative among fans. “You say something, I say something, you start crying. You have created the narrative that I am an angry black woman who has scared off the little white girl,” the Chicago queen said.
Fans quickly took to Twitter to defend their favorite queens, be that Aquaria or The Vixen. But after a few days, some fans took the argument too far, some even sending death threats to The Vixen for going after Aquaria.
After seeing such strong reactions to the encounter all over social media, Aquaria decided to set the record straight. In a post on her Twitter account, the Brooklyn queen explained that while she was upset in the moment, she knew that The Vixen’s point was right. “I think she had a very valid point about the optics and even though I was aware of this issue before, I still learned something from our discussion,” she wrote. “As in any family, sisters argue, but that doesn’t make us any less family.”
I may have felt beyond overwhelmed in the moment discussing what went down with @TheVixensworld but she is so right and I hope others can learn from the points she made in Untucked ?? pic.twitter.com/41gZtwbphC

But even after attempting to bury the hatchet, Aquaria saw that some of her fans were still sending hatred and threats toward her Chicago sister. So she took to Twitter again, this time to let the trolls know who was in charge.
“Turns out a small amount of my fans don’t get the fucking picture even after I spelt it out in the most obvious words,” she said. “If you are STILL mad at what The Vixen had to say then please jump off the Aquaria train because I’m driving away without y’all. Trash.”

*”A SMALL AMOUNT”* if you are a racist fan of mine I don’t I’ve a fuck about your existence and I am happy and proud to say that —

When a Twitter user attempted to tell her that she was being rude to her fanbase, Aquaria was quick to shut them down. “If you are a racist fan of mine I don’t I’ve [give] a fuck about your [sic] existence and I am happy and proud to say that,” she wrote.
