In this week’s episode of “My Billboard Moment,” Adam Lambert reflects upon the time his song “Whataya Want from Me” hit the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Billboard cover star Lambert recalls that when the song hit No. 10 in 2010, he was “over the moon” about it. He notes that at that point in time, he felt like he had a lot to prove as an artist based on his identity and the fact that he appeared on a singing competition show.
“Having that happen was real validation,” he says. “It felt like, okay, I proved my point.”
