The holiday season is upon us, and there’s no better way to officially mark its arrival than with the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
Each year, countless people flock to Rockefeller Center or tune in from their televisions to watch the star-studded performances and the event’s defining moment: the lighting of the massive tree.
This year’s ceremony airs Wednesday night (Nov. 28) and will be the 86th anniversary of the tree lighting event. The ceremony will be broadcast on NBC from 8-10 p.m. ET, with a special holiday pre-show beginning at 7 p.m. ET. Diana Ross, Brett Eldredge, John Legend, Kellie Pickler and Pentatonix are among this year’s extensive list of performers.
