A cappella group Pentatonix just dropped their own rendition of “Waving Through a Window” from the Tony-winning musical Dear Evan Hansen, and it’s a soaring cover of the powerful song.
The five-member group took to Twitter on Wednesday morning (May 22) to drop a music video for the song, in which they perform on their own version of a Broadway stage.
The tweet reads: “Our NEW MUSIC VIDEO is here! We are such huge fans of @DearEvanHansen that we decided to release our own version of ‘Waving Through A Window.’ It’s one of our favorite songs from the musical! We hope you all enjoy it.”

The video features all five vocalists — Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola and Matt Sallee — onstage as the big red curtains life to reveal the group in perfect formation, as if they were actually performing in a musical.
The song can best be described as a beautiful concoction of sounds and harmonies that blend each member’s voice to perfection.
Pentatonix just kicked off the first leg of their Pentatonix: The World Tour on May 11 at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif., and wraps up on Sept. 1 in Canfield, Ohio.
