It’s a Mariah-cle! Mariah Carey‘s seminal Christmas carol “All I Want For Christmas Is You” just jingled all the way up to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (chart dated Dec. 21) for the first time since its initial release in 1994, making her Queen of Christmas title more perfect.
“We did it,” she exclaimed on Twitter with a flurry of holiday emojis this morning (Dec. 16). “All I Want For Christmas Is You” officially tallies 19 No. 1 hits for Carey, the second-most for any act following The Beatles with 20 Hot 100 chart-toppers.
The 25-year-old holiday anthem also spends its 38th week at No. 1 on the Holiday 100 chart (dated Dec. 21).
