
Today marks the birth of America’s first Secretary of Treasury, and the iconic face of the ten dollar bill, Alexander Hamilton.
Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator of the smash Broadway musical about the birthday boy, took a moment to celebrate the Founding Father on the day he would’ve turned 261 (Jan. 11). He posted video on Twitter Thursday morning of him singing a dolorous “Happy Birthday” on piano, captioning it “Good morning & happy birthday to A.Ham.”
Hamilton recently expanded to a 20-city tour, hitting major cities such as Boston, Atlanta, Chicago, London, San Diego and more. Watch video of Miranda’s birthday wishes below.
