Jeremy Scott is working with beauty powerhouse MAC to release a collection of ‘90s music-inspired makeup products, and it’s everything you would expect from the over-the-top designer: color, pizzazz and throwback flair.
The upcoming collection “introduces manic color for eyes, lips and cheeks specially packaged in cheeky tribute to the days of mixtapes, boomboxes, new music and unhinged creative expression taking root on city streets,” the brand noted in a press release.
Its “Future Emotion” lip palette features nine shades, including a matte nude, fiery red, brown and purple hues, while the “Acoustic” cheek palette offers a pearly highlighter, matte bronzer and satin pink blush. Completing the collab is the 29-color “LoFi” eyeshadow palette, consisting of an extensive range of vibrant tones and finishes.
The 42-year-old Moschino designer celebrated 20 years of his infamous namesake label just months ago with a spirited show during last fall’s New York Fashion Week.
Jeremy Scott x MAC’s collection ($35-$75) is available Feb. 8 online and at select MAC retailers.
