
SXSW has over the years has become known as one of the best ways for indie bands from Latin America and Spain (and everywhere else) to get a foothold in the United States, with artists often making their U.S. debuts at the Austin festival. This year, Spain will continue its popular paella party, and Latin Alternative showcases abound. But, like the rest of SXSW, the Latin music program will include big name acts, spotlighting three Mexican stars: Toy Selectah and Camilo Lara, who will be presenting their latest project, Compass.
