With Drake, J. Cole and Lil Wayne all preparing for their annual festivals this summer, a new act is hoping to catch some buzz for his inaugural bash later on this year. Today, Post Malone announced his first-ever “Posty Fest,” which will take place at the Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, TX on Oct. 28.
In a press release, it was revealed that the all-day festival will be “curated and headlined” by Malone, himself. Though the details remain scarce at the moment, Malone will have “many surprises in store” including a “blockbuster lineup.” Tickets for Posty Fest will go on-sale Friday (June 15) on Livenation.com.
In a statement to Billboard, Malone succinctly expressed his excitement for his all-day shindig by saying: “We gonna get so fuckin’ weird.”
Currently, Malone occupies the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Psycho” featuring Ty Dolla $ign. The record serves as Malone’s second consecutive No. 1, with his first coming last October when he released his 21 Savage-assisted scorcher “Rockstar.”
Though “Posty Fest” is months away, those vying for an opportunity to see Malone sooner rather than later can try to catch him for the remainder of his headlining tour with 21 Savage and SOB X RBE. To conclude his multi-city jaunt, Malone will be touching down in Austin, Phoenix, San Diego and Las Vegas, before doing back-to-back shows in Los Angeles on June 27 and June 28.
