Vince Staples, Dawes, MSTRKRFT and Ty Segall are among the performers slated for the 2017 Noise Pop Festival (Feb. 17-27, 2017). Staples will be making his second consecutive appearance at the indie music and arts fest, which will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in San Francisco. Also on the bill thus far are Deafheaven, electronic and hip-hop producers BadBadNotGood (BBNG) and Blonde Redhead.
The full talent lineup for the 11-day Noise Pop Festival will be announced in future rollouts between now and February. Last year’s event—featuring 150+ performers across 17 Bay Area venues—drew more than 21,000 attendees. In addition to Staples, that lineup included Kamasi Washington, The Cave Singers, Neon Indian and iLoveMakonnen. Noise Pop HQ, featuring acoustic performances and a variety of special events, will be staged once again at the Swedish American Hall.

Popular contemporary street artist and OBEY Clothing founder Shepard Fairey (the mastermind behind Barack Obama’s 2008 “Hope” poster) created the artwork for the 2017 fest. Fairey also did the same in 2012 and 2000.
Early bird badges and a limited number of Super Fan badges will be available today at 9am PT. Tickets to all individual performances go on sale on Nov. 18. For more information, visit www.noisepop.com/2017.
