Salt Lake City’s second annual LOVELOUD Festival has announced the final lineup for the Saturday event. The festival will feature performances by Imagine Dragons, Zedd, Linkin Park‘s Mike Shinoda, Grace VanderWaal and Neon Trees’ Tyler Glenn, along with a presentation by Apple CEO Tim Cook.
“We launched LOVELOUD to create a safe space for people to show their love and acceptance for LGBTQ youth,” Imagine Dragons frontman and festival founder Dan Reynolds said in a press release. The festival is designed to “ignite the vital conversation about what it means to unconditionally love, understand, accept, and support LGBTQ+ youth in our communities.”
Apple CEO Tim Cook caps a lineup of speakers including Julianne Hough, Tegan Quin of Tegan and Sara, Mary Lambert and more.
“Tim Cook joining us in Utah for LOVELOUD sends a clear message to LGBTQ youth that they have unlimited potential to achieve their dreams,” Reynolds said about the Apple CEO’s presence at the festival. “Tim is an unwavering advocate for human rights and equality, and we’re thrilled he’ll be joining our powerful line-up of speakers and performers.”
LOVELOUD’s goal is to raise $1 million for LGBTQ+ organizations including The Trevor Project and the Tegan and Sara Foundation in a single day. Passes can be purchased here.
The festival will be live-streamed on Saturday, powered by AT&T. Check out a promo for the event below.
