Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, The Libertines, Sam Smith, Belle & Sebastian, Fatboy Slim, My Morning Jacket, Run the Jewels and Bastille are among the acts to play at the first Lollapalooza Berlin, set for Tempelhof Airport Sept. 12-13.
C3 Presents, now part of the Live Nation portfolio, will produce Lollapalooza Berlin, along with long time Lolla partners Perry Farrell and William Morris Endeavor Entertainment. Lollapalooza Berlin is positioned to become a European stronghold for the hugely successful international festival brand, joining Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Chicago which grossed a combined $66 million (U.S.) in 2014, according to Billboard Boxscore.
Acts will perform on four stages, with the fest including the popular Kidzapalooza component, along with “glittering highlights from the worlds of fashion and art, as well as the hustle and bustle of Berlin’s urban charm,” according to a release announcing the lineup.

As for the talent, the festival will serve as the German launch of DJ Boys Noize’s Dog Blood project, conceived with EDM-superstar Skrillex. Chvrches, MS MR, Everything Everything, Glass Animals, Crystal Fighters, and Wolf Alice are booked to perform, and FFS (Franz Ferdinand & Sparks) will make its debut. Clean Bandit, Martin Garrix, and Robin Schulz will perform on Perry’s Stage, and Tame Impala, Run The Jewels, Little Dragon, and Hot Chip will take on Lollapalloza Berlin’s alternative stage.
Joining the international acts will be popular local/regional acts in Seeed, Beatsteaks, and Mighty Oaks. Main stage performers Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, The Libertines, Sam Smith, Seeed, Belle & Sebastian, Fatboy Slim, MMJ, and Bastille will be joined by a “remaining act, [which] might have been the first one to be booked, yet…will be the last one to be revealed during a grand event,” according to a statement released announcing the lineup. Additional acts, as well as program details, will be announced over the coming weeks.
Tickets are available at www.lollapaloozade.com. Two-day tickets are on sale for €119; day-tickets for €69. Accompanied by a parent, teenagers from 11-14 can attend the festival for €19, while entry for kids 10 years old or younger is free of charge. All ticket prices include fees.
