Coachella’s second weekend featured no shortage of Prince tributes, and headliner LCD Soundsystem delivered one of the first night’s most memorable covers on the main stage.
Swathed in purple light, the reunited Brooklyn band treated the Coachella crowd to a powerful rendition of the late pop star’s “Controversy.”
As they had done the first weekend, the James Murphy-fronted outfit also paid tribute to David Bowie by covering “Heroes.”
