Police in Suffolk, England, are investigating a reported assault that took place during the Latitude Festival on Saturday night (July 20).
According to a tweet from the Suffolk police, they are investigating a report of a “serious sexual assault” at the event in Henham that reportedly took place in the “red camping area between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m.” on Saturday night.
At press time a spokesperson for the Suffolk PD says there is no further information available on the alleged incident, with no details at press time on any arrests or leads in the incident; anyone with information is encouraged to visit the Crimestoppers UK site. Officers are reportedly working with the victim as they continue the investigation.
The two-day festival featured headlining sets by Lana Del Rey, Sterophonics, George Ezra, Underworld, Chvches, Primal Scream and Everything Everything.
