For the second year in a row, Nashville-based quintet LANCO are spending a weekend in Brooklyn, Michigan for the Faster Horses music festival. But with Billboard also at the country fest this year, the fivesome didn’t just get to perform on the Next From Nashville stage — they also performed on top of a bus.
Spending Saturday (July 22) on the festival grounds in preparation for their Sunday evening set, LANCO decided to hit the campground to take the action a little closer to some fans. Naturally, once they saw a bus with a roof deck on the grounds, they couldn’t resist hopping on top and playing a tune.
After taking pictures with the excited campers, drummer Tripp Howell declared “I say we have a bus party!” and the guys made their way to the roof deck to perform their hit “Greatest Love Story.” Despite having to compete against a generator to be heard, the guys still managed to share a sing-along with the group of fans.
Following the performance, LANCO socialized a little more — Howell even attempted his first beer bong — before making their way into the festival to enjoy even more fun with fans on the giant inflatable waterslide. If you weren’t lucky enough to be part of LANCO’s Faster Horses adventures, Billboard caught it all on tape. Check it out in the video above.
