On the night of his performance at iHeartRadio Music Festival performance, J. Cole took time to chat with Billboard’s Andrew Hampp about his new music and plans for the near future.
Cole was full of enthusiasm, remarking on the wide variety of legendary artists on hand; in fact, he’d just met Elton John himself. He spoke about one of his personal muses, the reunited girl group TLC, whom he collaborated with on “Crooked Smile,” a track from his new album “Born Sinner.”
