Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Hart, Ice Cube, Tegan and Sara and Chromeo lead the bill for the first-ever Colossal Clusterfest, a comedy-meets-music gathering orchestrated by Comedy Central and Superfly, organizers of Bonnaroo and Outside Lands.
Other performers announced for the inaugural lineup include Bill Burr, Sarah Silverman, Hannibal Buress, Tig Notaro, Chris Hardwick, Fred Armisen, Pete Davidson and Reggie Watts.
The Comedy Central Presents Colossal Clusterfest will take place across five stages at San Francisco’s Civic Center Plaza and Bill Graham Civic Auditorium from June 2 to June 4, with a live on-air Comedy Central special covering the event on its final day.
The program promises lots of laughs and chances to rock out with its cocktail of stand-up and sketch performances, on-stage Q&As, music performances and “one-of-a-kind collaborations between musicians and comedians,” organizers say.
Also, festivalgoers can stroll into three onsite attractions dedicated to the Comedy Central’s South Park, FXX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Seinfeld.
Tickets for the fest, pitched as a “celebration of comedy in all its forms,” go on sale this Thursday at www.clusterfest.com. Check out a promo video below.
