Classically trained cellist-turned-DJ/producer Alison Wonderland sat down with Billboard at Coachella this weekend to discuss everything from her secret warehouse parties to her debut album, Run.

Wonderland says making the album — which includes a Wayne Coyne collabo “U Don’t Know” — was like giving birth to a child.
“It’s like giving birth to something. I’ve put so much love into this record. And it’s from an honest place. Putting out something you’re attached to and having people judge it is nerve-racking,” she admits.
