Breakaway Music Festival has announced its 2017 lineup, and the Ohio fest is bigger and better than ever before — and not just because of its star-studded roster. This year, Breakaway isn’t just in Columbus; it’s also going to take over Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Charlotte, North Carolina.
While this year sees the addition of Charlotte, only the date and location have been announced for that fest (That One Park on Oct. 14). But lineups for Grand Rapids and Columbus were revealed Wednesday (May 24), with Travis Scott, Zedd and Jon Bellion serving as headliners for Grand Rapids, and Scott, Diplo and Lil Yachty headlining Columbus. GoldLink, 3LAU, Quinn XCII, blackbear and Kyle are playing both fests, but otherwise the lineups differ with artists like Cheat Codes, Cashmere Cat, Playboi Carti and more on respective bills.
Grand Rapids’ Breakaway Festival will take place at Belknap Park from Aug. 25 and Aug. 26, while Columbus’ fest happens Labor Day weekend (Sept. 1 and 2) at Mapfre Stadium. More info will be announced soon about Breakaway Charlotte, which is set to take place at Music Factory, along with a few more artists on each roster.
Take a look at the Columbus and Grand Rapids Breakaway Fest lineups below. No further details about Charlotte’s lineup have been announced, but stay updated and buy tickets on the event’s official website.
