When it comes to his cooking skills, Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds jokes that his signature dish is a “mean bowl of cereal.”
“The right amount of milk and I eat it quick enough while it’s still crunchy,” Reynolds tells Billboard backstage at BottleRock 2015 in Napa, Calif.
The topic of food is appropriate for BottleRock, which boasts numerous A-list Napa Valley restaurants and wineries on site at the music festival, which started May 29 and runs through May 31.
As for wine, both Reynolds and Imagine Dragons guitarist Wayne Sermon prefer white.
Imagine Dragons delivered a fan-pleasing performance on Friday that included covers of Ben E. King‘s “Stand By Me” and Alphaville‘s “Forever Young,” as well as their own hits “It’s Time,” “Demons,” “Radioactive” and ” I Bet My Life.”
Reynolds says the performance marked the beginning of the band’s U.S. tour behind new album, Smoke + Mirrors. Fans should expect something special, the lead singer says.
“We want it to be more of an experience,” he says of upcoming dates. “Sometimes it costs a little more to make that production really reach out and touch the people. And of course you want to get on stage and bring it every night.”
Imagine Dragons’ world tour currently runs through October.
