Coachella performances by Jack White, St. Vincent, Father John Misty and the War on Drugs will be among the 20 hours of festival coverage aired on AXS TV during the festival’s second weekend at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.
AXS TV will broadcast Coachella performances starting at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on April 17, 18 and 19. Friday and Saturday shows run seven hours; Sunday is six.
The following weekend, AXS TV will broadcast the Stagecoach Country Music Festival from the same site, also beginning at 9 p.m. April 24, 25 and 26. The network will air about 15 hours of performances.
The Coachella lineup on April 17 is Alabama Shakes, Lykke Li, the War on Drugs, Reverend Horton Heat and Azelia Banks. The Saturday show features White, Alt-J, Run the Jewels, St. Paul and the Broken Bones and Father John Misty. And Sunday wraps up with St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Fitz & the Tantrums, Sturgill Simpson and Vance Joy.
The 15 Stagecoach acts whose sets will be broadcast are Jae Owen, Kip Moore, the Time Jumpers featuring Vince Gill and Kenny Sears, Kacey Musgraves, Parmalee and Sturgill Simpson on April 24; Dierks Bentley, Justin Moore, ZZ Top, Eli Young Band and Mac Davis on April 25; and the Band Perry, Sara Evans, George Thorogood and the Destroyers and Outlaws and April 26.
AXS will also be broadcasting the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival May 1 to 3, showing performances by the Who, No Doubt, Ed Sheeran, Keith Urban, JohnLegend, Hozier and others.
May 15-17, AXS will be showing the Rock on the Range Festival and, for the first time, Firefly from June 19 to 21.
