Andy King — the breakout star of Netflix’s Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened — announced on Wednesday (April 22) that he’ll be hosting this weekend’s upcoming Room Service Music Festival.
The virtual fest, which kicks off Friday (April 24) on YouTube, will feature a packed lineup — A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Alec Benjamin, Yungblud, Chelsea Cutler and more will wow over three days of performances.
Presented by popular YouTube channels Trap Nation and Chill Nation on the third anniversary of the doomed Fyre Festival, 100 percent of proceeds from Room Service will go to nonprofits Feeding America and Sweet Relief to help provide support during the coronavirus pandemic.
“I’m beyond thrilled to host Room Service this weekend and bring everybody some well-deserved joy and distraction,” King said in a statement. “This festival gives us a chance to translate the anniversary of Fyre into some real good that’s needed in the world right now.”
