The Osheaga Music and Arts Festival in Montreal has rescheduled for summer 2021 with a lineup that includes the Foo Fighters, Cardi B and Post Malone. The event is slated to return on July 30, 31 and Aug. 1 at Parc Jean-Drapeau for its 15th edition.
In a statement announcing the event, organizers promised that they will follow all COVID-19 protocols and “continue to update the status should anything change, but we need to plan for the future, because there IS a light at the end of the tunnel!” The Foos were slated to headline at the 2020 pandemic-canceled festival and at press time no other headliners or performers for the 2021 edition have been announced.
Fans who sign up early to attend can buy tickets via a zero interest/zero service fees and pay their tickets off over several months. “The OSHEAGA family would like to extend a huge thank you to fans, numerous sponsors and public partners for their continuous support,” read the statement. “One thing is certain, when we can all gather and celebrate together again, it is going to be unforgettable! We cannot wait to see you at OSHEAGA Music and Arts Festival 2021.”
In addition to the first headlining slot by the Foos, the 2020 edition was also slated to feature Kendrick Lamar, Vampire Weekend, Lewis Capaldi, Bon Iver, Lizzo, Brittany Howard, Kraftwerk, Brockhampton, French Montana, Tones And I, Jessie Reyez, Rex Orange County and Leon Bridges.
