Spotify’s 2021 Wrapped insights officially arrived on Wednesday (Dec. 1), which allows consumers to take a look back on their favorite tracks, songs and artists and gives users a chance to see their listening activity over the past year. Spotify tracks users listening habits between Jan. 1 and Oct. 31, which informs the data shared with its consumers.
Fans looking to share their Wrapped insights to social media will be able to locate the data upon opening the app on a computer or mobile device and can be found in the “Made for You” tab, where listeners can revisit their favorite songs of the year in the Your Top Songs of 2021 playlist, as well as a new playlist titled Your Artists Revealed, which groups a series of songs from a select few artists and pairs the tracks with a relevant podcast episode. There is also a “2021 Wrapped” tab that, in addition to providing listeners with playlists unique to their account, shares the more general playlists like the top tracks and artists of the year, best podcasts of 2021 and more.
Bad Bunny once again ranks at Spotify’s most-streamed artist, with Taylor Swift and BTS coming in the No. 2 and No. 3 spots respectively. Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour earned the title of Spotify’s most-streamed album, followed by Dua Lipa‘s Future Nostalgia and Justin Bieber‘s Justice. “Drivers License” was also the app’s most-streamed song of the year.
The Wrapped experience will be available to both free and premium Spotify users on the iOS and Android app.
