Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig, Jaden Smith, anime director Kazuhiro Furuhashi and Japan's Studio Deen and Production I.G. are apparently the talent behind Neo Yokio, a new anime project for Netflix.

Replying to a tweet from 2015 that showed a picture of himself with Smith, on Tuesday night (Sept. 5) the Vampire Weekend frontman wrote, "NEO YOKIO IS THE GREATEST CITY IN THE WORLD." The message included a thank-you emoji and the list of names above, as well as a few previews for Neo Yokio.

On the same day, Smith shared an illustration of a pink-haired Neo Yokio anime character, along with a tag to a @NeoYokio Instagram account. That page features a series of slideshows, one of which says Netflix and the date Sept. 22. There is also a verified Twitter page for Neo Yokio.

Check out the teaser tweets and Instagram posts below.
