The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) today announced its lineup of events for this year's Sundance Film Festival in Park City Utah. The eclectic slate of musicians performing at the publishing society's Sundance ASCAP Music Café include world fusion artist K'Naan, Rhode Island indie rock band the Low Anthem, songbird St. Vincent. singer-songwriter Josh Ritter and pop-rock band Guster.

The Sundance ASCAP Music Café, which is now in its 13th year of hosting live music at the fest, will run from Jan. 21 to 28, 2011. The stated goal of the venue is to facilitate increased collaboration between the film and music industries.

Other musicians scheduled to play the Sundance ASCAP Music Café this year, include: Nicole Atkins, The Chapin Sisters, The Civil Wars, Madi Diaz, Jared Evan, Fall On Your Sword, Julia Fordham & Paul Reiser, Danko Jones, Bobby Long, Manchester Orchestra, Tim Myers, Matt Nathanson, Cameron Rafati, The Secret Sisters, Tin Hat, Elle Varner, and artists from the film Pariah featuring Tamar-Kali.

ASCAP is also hosting their annual invite-only ASCAP VIP Film Music Breakfast on Tuesday January 25th. The event brings together select festival filmmakers with ASCAP composers.
