Frontline Warner label enjoyed successful 2017 with hit records from Dua Lipa, Royal Blood, and Liam Gallagher.
Jennifer Ivory has been appointed general manager of Warner Bros. Records UK, reporting to label president Phil Christie.
Ivory joined Warner Music in 2009 rising to VP marketing, where she oversaw led campaigns for a number of the label's biggest stars, including Muse, Green Day, Michael Bublé and breakthrough British pop star Dua Lipa, who Spotify named as the U.K.'s most streamed female artist of 2017.
Ivory also oversaw the marketing push for Liam Gallagher's hit solo debut, As You Were, which ranked number nine in the U.K.'s top-selling artist albums of last year, according to Official Charts Company, and was the highest-selling week one vinyl LP of the last 20 years.
Other notable successes for the British arm of Warner Bros. Records in 2017 included rock act Royal Blood scoring its second successive number one album with How Did We Get So Dark?
Announcing Ivory's appointment to the newly-created role of general manager, Phil Christie said her promotion was "well-deserved" recognition of her innovative approach to marketing.
"She's been a driving force behind Warner Bros. marketing for a number of years, bringing important cultural moments, creativity and ambition to every campaign, as well as some impressive results for our artists," praised Christie.
"We have some fantastic talent coming through, both within the label and the artists we work with, and I look forward to helping to develop their careers," added Ivory, who worked at Sanctuary Group as VP marketing prior to joining Warner. Her new role, which is effective immediately, will see her continue to steer artist marketing as well as digital and creative content.
Alongside Ivory's appointment, Sebastian Simone has been named head of digital strategy for Warner Bros. U.K., reporting to Ivory.
