Sony/ATV Music Publishing Ltd. has signed a worldwide administration agreement with STB Music, the publishing arm of reggae/dancehall record label VP Records.
VP claims to be the largest reggae label, home to artists like Sean Paul, T.OK, Morgan Heritage, Wayne Wonder, Elephant Man and Capleton, among others.
The deal includes contemporary hits and a catalog of classic material spanning various reggae music eras such as ska, roots, dub, rocksteady and lover's rock.
"Sony/ATV Music Publishing has shown a real understanding of our business and culture," said Randy Chin, president of STB.
