Music print publisher Hal Leonard is launching new Web sites that will give concert band, marching band, jazz ensembles and orchestra leaders online access to its catalog of print music.

The sites, and, offer a function to search by ensemble type, grade level, composer and arranger to find band and orchestra music. Users can view the full score and parts as well as hear a recorded demonstration. Directors can then purchase scores and parts, customize the instrumentation for their particular groups and print copies.

“We are very proud to be the first publisher offering this online service for band and orchestra directors," says Hall Leonard president Larry Morton. "These new Web sites help music educators deliver music into the classroom digitally and on demand.”

These new sites will work with the publisher's digital retailer program, which has been used for the company's downloadable sheet music site,, which was launched in 1997.
