The 21st annual Pete Carpenter Fellowship for aspiring film composers under the age of 35 has opened and is taking applications. The fellowship winner will have an opportunity to work for four to five weeks with composer Mike Post, and will receive a $3,000 stipend for travel and expenses.

The fellowship was established by BMI and Carpenter's family and friends to honor the late co-composer of television themes and scores including The A-Team, Magnum P.I. and the Rockford Files.
