The Bicycle Music Company will now control hundreds of songs that the late Wes Farrell was involved in writing, including such songs as “Hang On Sloopy,” a hit for the McCoy’s; “Come On Get Happy,” the theme song for the Partridge Family television show; and “Come On Down To My Boat,” a hit for Every Mother’s Son.

Farrell’s catalog was acquired by Bicycle’s investment affiliate, the AF
Circle C Fund. Other songs in the catalog include “Come A Little Bit
Closer,” a hit for Jay and the Americans and “Goodbye Baby, (Baby Goodbye),” a hit for Solomon Burke. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
