European Music publisher Strictly Confidential Music has signed an exclusive, worldwide deal with U.K. alt-rock act Editors.

Brussels-based Strictly Confidential is part of the PIAS Entertainment Group. The publishing arm launched in 1987 and gained a U.K. foothold in 2007, signing emerging U.K. acts White Belt Yellow Tag, Airship, Rose Elinor Dougall and the Real Tuesday Weld.

The Editors deal is Strictly Confidential's biggest signing to date. It will also create synergies with the band's recordings, for which PIAS has extended its partnership. It has agreed a deal to release the band's next two albums in Europe, excluding the U.K. where Sony Music has been the licensee.

Strictly Confidential's roster includes Soulwax, Junior Jack, Hindi Zahra, Felix Da Housecat and Bebel Gilberto.

Editors previously had a publishing agreement with Soul Kitchen, an affiliate of Newcastle, England-based Kitchenware Records, which has Editors on its roster. Soul Kitchen has an administration deal with Kobalt.
