RightsFlow has just announced an agreement with YouTube to assist with music rights management. The deal allows YouTube to enlist RightsFlow's help in processing and managing music rights.

David G. King, YouTube Product Manager responsible for rights management, said, "We are excited to be working with RightsFlow to help address the complexities around music rights management."

-- Fintage Music + Awal = Werx Group
Fintage Music and AWAL have entered into a new joint venture partnership called the Werx Group, which will offer a one-stop solution for publishing, neighboring rights, digital distribution and analytics.

Fintage Music, a division of the entertainment asset and administration company Fintage House, provides music publishing services for songwriters, publishers and production companies; while AWAL is a digital distributor with a global network of nearly 130 digital stores. Its capabilities include the BuzzDeck data analytics and recommendation toolbox and a licensing and sync platform.

Not So Crazy Town: Seth Binzer Makes Publishing Deal With Bicycle Music
The Bicycle Music Group and its affiliates have acquired co-songwriter publishing rights to track by Seth Binzer, also known as Shifty Shellshock, called "Starry Eyed Surprise" featuring Paul Oakenfold. The company has also acquired the publishing rights to the songs Binzer wrote for his solo album, "Happy Love Sick." Binzer used to be in the band Crazy Town.

Rebecca Jodran Inks Pub Deal With Imagem
Imagem Music Group has signed a worldwide, multi-year co-publishing agreement with singer/songwriter Rebecca Jordan who co-write Kelly Clarkson's "Beautiful Disaster." Jordan, the winner of the 2010 Abe Olman Award presented by the Songwriter's Hall of Fame and ASCAP, is currently writing with John Legend, Jens Gad, 1984 and Alice Smith, among others, according to the announcement.
