Fort William Artist Management, the home of independent artists and producers such as Menomena, Jens Lekman and John Vanderslice, has added Nicky Berger, Aja Pecknold and Dave Godowsky -- the first in LA, the latter two in New York -- to its boutique shop. The company was founded by Ami Spishock and Secretly Group co-founders Ben and Chris Swanson and Darius Van Arman. The company maintains offices in New York, Indiana and California.
"We've been deliberate in not growing the company too fast," writes Spishock in a statement. "[Berger, Pecknold and Godowsky] are exactly the type of managers we've patiently looked forward to working with since Fort William opened its doors."
The three bring some notable acts along with them, including Fleet Foxes (Pecknold), Cass McCombs (Godowsky) and Grouplove (Berger), joining an existing roster that includes Grizzly Bear and Van Dyke Parks.
"Over the years, I've watched Fort William continually set the standard of excellence in a constantly-changing music industry," said Godowsky.
