The Belgian live industry had a strong showing at the 2007 ILMC Awards, collecting three honors.

Belgians won for "promoter's promoter" (Herman Schueremans, CEO Live Nation Belgium), "best service company" (StageCo) and "liggers' favorite festival" (Rock Werchter).

For Schueremans, it meant his second Arthur award, and the third for the Rock Werchter festival. "It's quite important to gain recognition from fellow live industry professionals," he says, adding "this puts Belgium and Flanders on the map."

Other Arthur winners were Toby Leighton Pope (Live Nation U.K.) in the "tomorrow's new boss" category; Emma Banks (HelterSkelter) for "second least offensive agent"; Wembley Arena in the "first venue" category; Jake Berry for "production of the year"; Robbie Williams for "least painful tour" and Barrie Marshall for the ILMC "bottle" award.

The International Live Music Conference was held March 9-11 in London.
