The inaugural CISAC Copyright Summit in Brussels attracted 582 delegates, according to figures issued by the confederation of authors‚ societies today.

Delegates were drawn from 263 different companies and 53 countries.

CISAC director general Eric Baptiste told that attendance was above the organization's expectations when they planned the summit. It is now expected to become a regular event on the calendar.

The summit concludes today (May 31) after two days of debate under the banner "Creators First."
