Michael Brycz has been promoted to GM, Warner Music Central Europe in Hamburg, effective immediately. Brycz has served as marketing director, Warner Music Germany, since 2006.

In his new position, Brycz assumes additional duties for the major's TV, radio and online promotion departments and is responsible for coordinating all marketing and promotion activities in G/S/A.

He reports to Bernd Dopp, chairman and CEO, Warner Music Central and Eastern Europe.

"Michael has proven himself as a highly creative marketing and promotions expert with campaigns for Linkin Park, Gnarls Barkley and Beatsteaks," comments Dopp in a statement.

Brycz joined Warner Music Germany's EastWest Records in 2002 as senior marketing manager pop mainstream. In 2004, he took marketing duties for Warner Music Germany's urban unit.
