Warner Music Nordic has appointed Lasse Karlsson as artist brand manager for its Swedish business.

Based in Stockholm, Karlsson will be responsible for tapping new opportunities and artist services, including synchronisation, touring, merchandise, sponsorship and endorsement.

Karlsson comes to the music major with a pedigree in artist management, having guided the careers of pop act Ace of Base, and local artists Emilia, Meja and Jessica Folcker.

His CV also features a strong history in the live business. In 2002, he became co-partner of leading Swedish independent tour and concert agency United Stage Artists. And in collaboration with songwriter and producer Douglas Carr, Karlsson co-founded a Swedish production and studio complex.
